On July 27, 2001 I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior. I was never brought up in the “Christian” atmosphere but was introduced to it by my grandmother, whom I lived with for a couple of years when I was around 14. Through some circumstances the Lord used the Lapp family to adopt me at the late age of 15. They took me under their wings and taught me some wonderful values and lessons of life. Under their guidance, I attended Heartland Baptist Bible College where the Lord showed me the next chapter in my life: marriage. Meeting my wife was one of the best things that has happen to me (next to salvation). We both graduated from HBBC with a bachelor in Pastoral Studies (myself) and Elementary Education/Youth Minor (my wife). After marriage, the Lord opened the door for the opportunity to work with Pastor Bigham here at Arden Road Baptist. We both consider ourselves extremely blessed to serve the Lord with the leadership of our pastor, Pastor Dale Bigham.
